Amanda Le Klassen #1

A good portion of my tattoos represent the different places I’ve been to so far, I try to get a tattoo in every city I visit. When I get tattooed at home I only see one artist and he does all of my big pieces. I got my first tattoo on my first road trip with friends to see my favourite band at the time, who I had wanted to see for years. My newest addition, my sleeve, represents a new path, me finding myself and embracing it, finding my inner peace and wisdom. The Green Tara on the top portion of my sleeve is a very strong and inspiring feminine symbol in the Buddhist culture and not to mention very, very beautiful. Using my body for marking moments in my life and simply using it as a canvas for beautiful art has become not only a hobby but a passion of mine!

Yok Jade from Thailand #2

Hi. im Yok Jade
from Thailand
you could see more pics of me on my www.myspace.com/yokg6
and the reasons why i wanted tattoos is just because i wanted to be different from another thai girls people over here they care too much about the cultures, family, people around you and most of people here they thinks whoever and specially girl had tattoos mean that person is bad, so people they scared to get tattoo even in they minds they want it so much. i know this is may different from everywhere but its true. So i just wanted to make everyone know that’s not true and i dont care what people will think about me. I am happy to be my self. Sorry for my English :)

Stunning Toxic Goddess Dame Lebeau

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

I asked Lebeau to send in some photos. Her blog and other spaces on the web (links below) are entertaining for any tattoo fan. Over to her …

Update: More Photos of Dame Lebeau (plus advice for prospective models.

Dame Lebeau #1

I currently divide my time between New Orleans and Tulsa. I am a photographer, nude/fetish model, belly dancer of 10 years and online business owner dealing in music related memorabilia. I also help run the counter at Electric Eye Tattoo Mysterium in Tulsa. You can view our artists’ portfolios here: www.electriceyetulsa.com

I am highly involved in the Toxic Goddess Project under the name Dame Lebeau. We are Oklahoma based and provide fine art high quality erotic photos for persons who want something off the path of Suicide Girls. Most of the girls, myself included are big sci-fi and fantasy nerds and we get to reflect that in our photo sets.

Dame Lebeau #2 - Backpiece

I started getting tattooed at the age of 18 after a long fascination with the tattoo my mother had on her right inner forearm. It is a Thai prayer that she had received in her late teens in Thailand. It took a few trips to different tattoo shops for me to realize what the “art” of tattooing is all about. I like most got tattoos just to be able to have one. Kind of like a new gadget. I am now working my way to being pretty well covered. My back is being worked on by Eric Poland of Electric Eye in Tulsa. We currently have 18 hours in it so far and I can’t wait to see more of it progress. Other artists I have had work done by are Kat von D who did my John Lennon portrait, David Hek of Norman, Tony Carrera at Electric Eye in Tulsa, and Brandon Mull.
See you around the inner-web.
