Here are some shots that I had done of my ink that I am extremely proud of.
I’ve been wanting a tattoo for almost 20 years, and it took me that long to discover what imagery I wanted to have so permanently inscribed on my body.
The cherry blossoms represent both a delicateness that I believe will stand the test of time, as well as the length of life itself — from bud, to full, to fallen blossom. There are specific blossoms that represent the loss of my mother, and the birth of my son.
I’m proud of the art and the pain I went through to get it. All very satisfying, and in a way, life changing. I’m also proud to have been inked by the very talented, gentle and thoughtful artist, Rob Coutts.
